Dear E-mit Member,

In accordance with Article 5 of the E-mit Charter, we are pleased to open the call for nominations for the E-mit Executive Board.

Positions Open for Election

The following Executive Board positions are open for election:

• President
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• One representative of Senior Members
• Two Representatives of Junior Members
  • One PhD student/Postdoc
  • One Trainee Clinician
• Ordinary Board Members

Only four of the six Ordinary Members will be elected, while the remaining two will continue from the previous Board to ensure continuity.

Nomination Procedure

As stated in the Charter:

• Nominations must be made in writing to the Secretary of E-mit Şükrü Anıl Doğan: anil.dogan@bezmialem.edu.tr
• Each nomination must include:
  • The signature (or verifiable electronic signature) of two individual E-mit members.
  • The signature (or verifiable electronic signature) of the nominee.

Deadline for submission of nominations: April 30th

The full list of nominees will be published on the E-mit website at least seven days prior to the election.

Eligibility Rules (Important)

• Nominees for Senior Representative and Junior Representatives must belong to the appropriate membership category at the time of election.
• Junior and Senior members may not be nominated for election as President, Secretary, Treasurer, or as Ordinary Members of the Executive Board.
• No individual member may nominate more than:
  • One candidate for each officer position
  • Up to three candidates for Ordinary Member positions
• No candidate may stand for more than one position.

Voting and results

The election will be conducted electronically, and the results, including the newly elected Board, will be announced during EUROMIT 2026 in Angers from 31^st May – 4^th June 2026.

We strongly encourage all eligible members who wish to contribute to the leadership and future direction of E-mit to consider standing for election.

Please submit nominations and any related correspondence to the E-mit Secretary by April 30th.
